Water Sports

The Yorkshire Dales National Park provides a wonderful backdrop for water sports and there are opportunities to canoe and sail in the area. Navigate some of Yorkshire's best open waters like never before.

Mountain Biking

The Yorkshire Dales offers great mountain biking, beautiful upland scenery, rare wildlife, superb cafes and pubs and lovely villages. Many trails have a history as well as being great fun to ride, being a mixture of Roman roads, monastic highways, mining tracks and drovers roads.

Caving

There are over 2500 known caves in the Dales including the longest system in Britain, The Three Counties and the famous large chamber of Gaping Gill. There are popular beginners trips such as Long Churns with its famous squeeze called the Cheesepress, and Great Douk Cave.
