Stay

We’ve got 70 bedrooms, spread across two floors.

Most rooms are perfect for two adults and a little one. Family rooms can sleep two children too. We also offer interconnecting rooms for larger families.

Check-in is from 15:00, and we kindly ask guests to check out by 11:00. Or, add early check-in and late check-out at 13:00 for an additional £30.

Fancy a slower start? Late check-out until 13:00 is available for £30, subject to availability.

Not all – but our Superior, Deluxe and Dales rooms do, for a cooler stay.

You can indeed. Some of our Classic, Deluxe and Dales rooms overlook the lake – just ask when booking. Supplements start from £20.

Yes – you’ll find Project EV charge points in our car park. It’s 50p per kWh to power up, and we recommend downloading the APEX EV app before you arrive.

Spa

Our spa is a tranquil, adult-only space. Guests must be 18 or over.

One-hour complimentary spa access is included with all stays between 20:00-22:00 and 7:00-10:00. This is bookable on arrival at hotel reception and is subject to availability.

Some thermal areas aren’t suitable during pregnancy, but our indoor pool is safe to enjoy. We also offer specialist spa treatments – our team will guide you to the right one for your stage.

We can welcome groups of up to 10. For bigger parties (up to 35), ask us about our exclusive-use Spa-rty package.

We don’t stock swimwear on site, but there are shops nearby in Skipton – around 20 minutes away.

Dining

Your dining allocation can be used in any dining outlet while you're with us.

Not as standard in our restaurants, but if you’re attending an event or private function, we can arrange this with at least seven days’ notice.

Absolutely. All our bars and restaurants serve a great selection of non-alcoholic options.

Dogs

We’re happy to welcome dogs in The View and Macleod’s Bar & Lounge. We just ask that paws stay off the furniture, please.

Yes – we have a number of dog-friendly rooms. It’s £20 per dog, per night, which includes a welcome pack with a mat, bowl, toy and treats. Dogs shouldn’t be left unattended, even in crates. We allow two small or one large dog per room. Read our full Dog Policy.

Sorry, no dogs are allowed in our function rooms – guide dogs are the exception.

We’re surrounded by livestock, so dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while exploring the grounds.

Activities & grounds

Absolutely. You’ll be given an estate map when you check in to help you explore.

Yes – we recommend pre-booking as our activity centres get busy, especially at weekends.

Minimum age requirements are as follows:
12 for clay pigeon shooting
12 for archery
8 for air rifles

Yes, just let us know in advance and we’ll reserve secure storage for you. You must present your licence to store your guns.

Drivers must be 17 or over. For younger guests (aged 11–17, must be 145cm tall), we offer a dual-controlled Young Off Roader experience.

No, for safety reasons, only our Land Rovers can be used on the course.

Yes – St Peter’s Church in Coniston Cold (C of E) is on the edge of the estate, and St Stephen’s in Skipton is the nearest Catholic church.

Accessibility

Yes. There’s a pool hoist for the 15m indoor pool, accessible changing areas, and carers are welcome free of charge to support guests.

It is. We have step-free entrances, ramps and a spacious lift to all floors.

We do. These feature lower beds and wet rooms – just get in touch so we can match you with the right room for your stay.
