Spa

How old do you have to be to use the spa?
The spa is strictly over 18s only.

Is spa access included with my bedroom reservation?
Unless your package states spa access is included, there is an additional charge as follows:
2-Hr | Mon-Thurs | £30.00 per person
2-Hr | Fri-Sun | £40.00 per person -
What does the spa access include?
Spa access includes use of the below:
- 15m Indoor Swimming Pool
- Finnish Sauna
- Himalayan Sauna
- Aromatherapy Steam Room
- Indoor Bubble Pool
- Infrared Sauna
- Ice Fountain
- Two Outdoor Infinity Pools
- Fully Equipped Fitness Suite and Dedicated Studio
- Spa Dining at Blossom Kitchen with Alfresco Area and Outdoor Poolside Bar
Our Private Garden Baths are available to book for a supplement. 45-mins | £49 per person
Our Mud Rasul is available to book for a supplement. 30-mins | £30 per person -
Can I use the spa if I am pregnant?
Due to the temperature of some of the thermal areas, we only recommend use of the indoor pool. We do have spa treatments available. Our experienced therapists can recommend a suitable treatment, according to your trimester.

What is the maximum number of guests I can book for the spa?
The maximum number of guests we can accommodate in a group is 10. Over this number, we recommend our exclusive use spa-rty package which can accommodate up to 35 guests.

Do you sell swimwear at the spa?
No we don’t. Shops can be found in Skipton approximately 20 minutes from the spa.
Dogs

Do you have any dog-friendly restaurants?
Yes, dogs are welcome in The View and Macleod’s Bar & lounge but please ensure your dog refrains from jumping on chairs and furniture.

Is my dog allowed in my room?
Yes, we have some dog friendly rooms. A £20 per dog per night charge applies. This includes a Dog welcome pack; mat, bowl, treats and a toy. Dogs should not be left unattended in rooms, even in cages. We allow a maximum of two small dogs or one big dog per room. Please see our dog friendly rules here.

Are dogs allowed in function rooms?
Unfortunately not, unless it is a guide dog.

Can I let my dog off lead on the estate?
Due to livestock on the estate, we ask for dogs to remain on a lead at all times.
Dining

I have dinner included in my package for a specific restaurant, can this be swapped?
Unfortunately not. Your allocation should be used in the restaurant assigned.

Do you serve Kosher or Halal options?
Unfortunately not on our main restaurant menus. If you are attending an event or function, this can be arranged with at least 7 days notice.

Do you offer alcohol free drinks?
Yes, we have a range of non-alcoholic drinks across all our bars and restaurants.
Staying

How many rooms do you have?
70 rooms across two floors.

How many people are allowed to stay in a room?
A maximum of two adults and one baby per bedroom, family rooms can accommodate up to two children.

What time is check in and out?
Check in is 3pm and checkout is 11am.

Can I check out later?
A late check out can be arranged until 1pm for a supplement of £30 and subject to availability.

Do all rooms have air-conditioning?
Unfortunately not all. Â Superior, Deluxe and Dales rooms do.

Can I have a lake view room?
A number of our Classic, Deluxe and Dales rooms have lake views. These can be pre-booked for a supplement starting from £20.

Do you have electric car charging points?
Yes we do in the car park. This is chargeable at 50p per KW.
Accessibility

Is the spa accessible at all?
A hoist is available for the 15m indoor pool. We have accessible changing facilities and carers can attend with guests complimentary, to support.

Is the hotel wheelchair friendly?
Yes, we have low entrances/ramps and a spacious elevator.

Do you offer accessible rooms?
Yes, with lower beds and wet rooms. Please speak to a member of the team to find the most suitable for you.
Activities & grounds

Can you walk around the estate and lake?
Yes, an estate map will be given on check in.

Do you have to pre-book activities?
Our activity centres do get very busy so we recommend you pre-book ahead of your stay.

How old do you have to be for Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery and Air Rifles?
Guests should be a minimum of 16-years old.

Can I bring my own gun and licence?
Yes, please advise ahead of your visit and we can pre-book space in our gun safe.

How old do you have to be for Land Rover Experience?
A minimum of 17-years old although we have a dual-controlled Young Off Roader Experience available for 10-17 year olds.

Can I drive my own car on the tracks?
Due to health and safety regulations, unfortunately not.

Is there a church nearby to attend service?
Saint Stephen's in Skipton for Catholics and St Peters in Coniston Cold, on the edge of the estate for Church of England.
